Magnet Cover: The included covers snap onto the tweeter magnets to create a “small volume” enclosure. The cover can be used with or without the flush mount housings. Without the magnet covers, the tweeters retain their IAL design (Infinite Acoustic Load).

Mounting: The tweeters are already installed in the flush mount housings when shipped. Each housing is mounted using the single screw hole in the rear. In the same way the tweeters are mounted in the housings using four screws, they can be mounted without the housing using the same screw holes. (Useful if your space won’t accommodate the size of the housing.) The tweeter depth is 0.585″ when mounted without the flush mount housing and with the magnet cover. Once installed the tweeters do not swivel.
